The Australian Social Science Data Archive (ASSDA) - Western Australia Node at it's establishment was based at the University of Western Australia.
It's major roles and responsibilities in the ASSDA Services for e-Social Sciences (ASeSS) Project are:-
- To provide data ingest services for researchers and institutions based in Western Australia;
- To provide specialist expertise on political and electoral data and the development of protocols and metadata standards for these data;
- To participate in the development of a humanities data capacity for ASSDA.
