The Australian Social Science Data Archive (ASSDA) - New South Wales Node at it's establishment was based at the University of Technology Sydney.
It's major roles and responsibilities in the ASSDA Services for e-Social Sciences (ASeSS) Project are:-
- To provide data ingest services for researchers and institutions based in New South Wales;
- To manage the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Data Archive (ATSIDA) and the development of protocols and metadata standards for the ATSIDA data.
